WHAT / SO !

PHRASES  EXCLAMATIVES  AVEC  SO ET 

 

Ces deux mots permettent d’exprimer une surprise, un étonnement ou une admiration.

SO et  WHAT  s’utilisent différemment dans la phrase mais dans les deux cas,

la phrase est terminée par un point d’exclamation !

 

 

1-WHAT est suivi d’un groupe nominal et commencela phrase.
                    un groupe nominal est un nom entouré de tous les mots qui le définissent, déterminant
                   ou /et adjectif.. Il peut-être réduit à un seul élément ou comporter plusieurs.

 

 

                    books / two books / some books / interesting books / some interesting books

 

                    a book / an interesting book / an intresting English book

 

 

What  interesting  books !

 

              groupe nominal au pluriel

 

 

What an interesting English book !

 

                 groupe nominal au singulier

 

 

 

2- SOest suivi d’un adjectif qualificatif, l’expression est généralement en fin de phrase.

 

This book is so interesting !

 

This English book is so interesting !

 

English books are so interesting !
